ASUS Ascent GX10 for LLMs: 128 GB memory and compatibility

How to account for GX10 unified memory, ARM64 support and software compatibility.

128 GB is shared by the whole system

ASUS Ascent GX10 is an ASUS system powered by NVIDIA GB10 Grace Blackwell. Our configuration shares 128 GB of LPDDR5x memory between its CPU and GPU. The operating system and other processes also need room. Budget for model weights, the KV cache and working buffers.

Check ARM64 compatibility first

GX10 uses an ARM64 CPU. A container or library built only for x86-64 may need replacing or rebuilding. Before booking, pin your model, quantization format and dependencies, then check a working GX10 deployment example.

Benchmark your actual workload

Model size alone cannot predict performance. Test a representative prompt, your target context length and realistic concurrency. Record time to first token, generation speed and peak memory use. Those measurements make hardware decisions much easier.
